The purse: how Split Verdict gets paid
Some corners pay me a cut of the ticket. The scorecard doesn’t know that, and the rounds don’t either — here’s the whole purse, itemized.
The mechanics
Purse boxes — the marked recommendation blocks — link through our /go/ directory with rel="sponsored". If you buy after clicking one, the vendor may pay a commission; your price doesn’t change. Plain links in scorecards and tape tables are just links.

The firewall, mechanically
Rounds are scored and totals computed in the site’s scoring engine before any purse box is written — the cards literally cannot see the money. The proof is in the table above: two corners that pay nothing went the distance with the champion and got recommended to entire audiences, while three paying corners collected a no-contest, a draw and a points loss between them.
